About 28 million individuals, or 8.6% of the US population, have no medical insurance (crsreports.congress.gov). This means no adequate access to mental healthcare. I have lived in McAllen, Texas, for 24 years, and it's alarming to learn that TEXAS has the highest uninsured population in the United States. Undiagnosed Mental illness is one of the most consequential roots of mass violence, illicit drug use, and all forms of Trauma (mental, physical, sexual). You do NOT wait for your family and loved ones to experience a mental health crisis. We need to prioritize mental health. Ask for help. Strive for support, and comply with treatment. My passion and purpose are to provide mental health support, most affordably. My clinic is primarily cash-based; however, you can utilize your insurance benefits, and I will work in your favor.
Anxiety, depression, insomnia, and recurring apprehensions are symptoms that can detrimentally affect how you feel, think, and function daily.
Comprehensive assessment means understanding your present and past symptoms. Every underlying issue, such as alcoholism, drug abuse, trauma, and medical disease, significantly affects your mental health status.

ABOUT ME Hi, I am Salvi Marie Alday. My journey in the field of Nursing began in 1992 in the Philippines at the University of the City of Manila. I have worked in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care, and Post Anesthesia Care units for 24 years. Working with diverse populations in different States, such as Indiana, Michigan, New Hampshire, Iowa, and Texas, strengthened my critical care skills. I completed my Master's Degree in Nursing from Walden University (Minnesota, USA) in March 2022 and became Board-Certified in May 2022. I am actively affiliated with the following US state organizations:
. A member of the National Alliance in Mental Health (NAMI, Texas chapter), advocating for the children/adolescent age groups and the LGBTQ community.
. A reputable member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS, Minneapolis chapter).
